Dirty needles pushed into a drain

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping - Drug related Litter category anonymously at 09:38, Thursday 11 June 2026

Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9600856.

We have a drain adjacent to our building and noticed that there was rubbish poking out. A colleague used a litter picker and pulled the rubbish out, in amongst the rubbish were dirty needles. He has cut open an old soap container and carefully put them in it and sealed it up.

  • I am not sure why this has been closed as we still have the needles in a sealed box awaiting collection.
