Tree Cutting with Active Birds Nest

Our balcony overlooks the tree and for a while, we noticed a nest developing, and just on Monday 25th I captured these photos of birds in this nest. It was sad to wake up on the 29th of May to the tree being cut down illegally due to the active nest, and I want to ensure this is avoided in the future. The nest was very large and unmissable.
