1-30 Arnold Estate - Unwashed Communal Stairs
Reported via mobile in the Stair Washing category anonymously at 12:40, Tuesday 5 May 2026
Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9401803.
I reported this problem on April 30th (9381253) and got an update to say the problem is fixed. It is NOT fixed. The communal stairs, entrance hall and landing on both sides of Block A (1-30) Arnold Estate have not been cleaned to standard. A sticky liquid substance has been spilt over 4 flights of stairs (Jamaica Road side) since the weekend - see photos. Please get someone to do their job.

The stairs of 1-30 Arnold Estate (Jamaica Rd stairwell, SE1 2DL) have still not been cleaned to standard despite multiple reports. Visible staining remains from a dirty liquid spilt all the way down the stairs They need to be properly cleaned with an appropriate detergent and or power washed.
