Piles of waste left by Veolia for years in rubbish chute today. Saw large rat running in there. Dead rat thee doors along by garage number 176

Reported via mobile in the Bin Chamber/Trailer Bay Clean category by Karen Gregory at 14:08, Saturday 18 April 2026

Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9314815.

This chute has been littered with piles of decomposing waste for a year or two. Veolia send a lorry with one driver to collect the skip, so nobody is there to clear the floor after the skip has been removed. Such a simple operation Veolia are paid to carry out, presumably, but never do. So bad for our and our children's health.
