Fly tipped rubbish attracting foxes, causing damage to vehicles

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping - General category anonymously at 11:51, Sunday 1 March 2026

Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9021240.

I am reporting an ongoing issue of fly-tipped waste at this location. Large items of rubbish, including furniture and building materials, have been dumped and left for a prolonged period of time. This waste is attracting and encouraging foxes to nest and remain in the area. As a result, foxes are now causing damage to residents’ vehicles by climbing on them and chewing wiring and other components. This is creating a nuisance and a financial burden for local residents and presents a potential public health concern. The dumped rubbish also poses a safety risk and negatively affects the appearance of the area. I request that this waste be removed as soon as possible and that appropriate action is taken to prevent further fly-tipping at this site. Thank you for your assistance.
