Flytipped mattresses by pavement and bus stop
Reported via mobile in the Flytipping - General category anonymously at 10:43, Saturday 28 February 2026
Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9016418.
Previous request was closed by Southwark with rationale given that this is the ‘responsibility of privately owned organisation’. This is on public land, on the boundary of a privately owned estate. The material in question has been illegally dumped by someone and therefore is not the responsibility of neighbouring blocks to resolve. This is a flytipping hot spot, and previous requests have been resolved by tbe council; a lack of action wil lead to a build up of further material which presents a hazard to the public, particularly given that there is a gas canister which is a fire risk. Please reconsider this request to remove Flytipped material with urgency.
