Dangerous thorns growing over footway

Reported via desktop in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 12:33, Wednesday 28 January 2026

Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8786696.

Dangerous thorns growing over footway. Hedging in Long Meadow is growing over 1m over footway on Gipsy Hill with large sharp thorns. This covers at least 20m of footway and near a busy bus stop and areas largest medical NHS centre. Many who are partially sighted, or young children are risk of cuts or stabbing by these thorns. Henges need pruning so the branches with thorns do not extend over the public footway.
