Large branch overhanging footpath

The tree is located in Nunhead Cemetery and overhangs the Brockley Footpath (highways land) and the neighbouring property (33 Borland Road) where the photo is taken. It's been a longstanding issue but we're about the rebuild the retaining wall along the footpath and keen to resolve this historic issue as it blocks a big chunk of the communal garden when in leaf.
