Very dirty bin and waste on main New Kent Road with dirty water and poo

Reported via mobile in the Litter Bin - Move or Remove category anonymously at 09:53, Fri 12 December 2025

Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8537626.

The bin outside Lebanese Grill and other two adjoining restaurants or food shops is very repulsive and this has been so everyday. Many school children with parents walk on the footpath on New Kent Road to reach Ark Globe Academy and they can hardly find space to walk. My son has asthma diagnosed recently and the stink is also unbearable. The entire street is so unhygienic it looks more like an underdeveloped country than UK. It is an eyesore. Problem is possibly the animal products these restaurants throw in the bins that overflows and tips outside or stinks up the street even if inside. It really should not be so. We deserve a clean, green and aesthetically pleasing environment as well as good smelling fresh air and clean streets and footpaths to walk on daily. Thos is a recurring issue. Please promote cleaner greener vegan businesses and plant based shops and move these unsightly bins away far from the path where kids walk.
