An approx 70 x 50 cm, and 4-6cm deep, pothole, which is steadily increasing in size

The pothole has been there for several months and is steadily increasing in size. It is in the centre of the carriageway on Ryedale approaching Underhill Road (near the end of Balchier Rd), a section of the road on which a there is a lot of traffic, often travelling quite fast. You can hear vehicles hitting it from neighbouring houses, and displaced loose gravel is often sprayed to the side of the road as cars and vans hit the hole.
