Ongoing Fly-Tipping Issue – Urgent Action Required

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping - General category anonymously at 19:40, Wed 9 July 2025

Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7835483.

I am to reporting yet another incident of fly-tipping in Sondes Street SE17.

Today, I discovered more rubbish that has been dumped in the area, including boxes containing address information that may be linked to the individual responsible.

This is now the third time I have contacted you regarding this ongoing issue. Despite my previous reports, the problem persists and is becoming increasingly frustrating for local residents.

I have previously requested that fly-tipping warning signs be installed in this location, as a potential deterrent. To date, no action appears to have been taken. I strongly urge the council to consider implementing signage and increased monitoring in this area as a matter of urgency.

In the meantime, I will be raising this matter with my local MP to ensure that appropriate steps are taken to address this continuing and unacceptable problem.
