Large hole in pavement outside door number 23B residence on Philip Walk, South East London
Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 10:29, Fri 13 June 2025
Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7704010.
A broken drain or utility cover on the pavement has created a hole large enough for a scooter or small foot to get trapped. My 5-year-old son was riding his scooter home when the front wheel fell straight into the hole, causing him to be thrown off and injuring his knees and ankle. The cover appears to be damaged or missing and poses a serious risk to pedestrians, especially children and elderly people. This needs urgent attention before someone is seriously hurt.
