Street Light needs Shield - Artificial Light Nuisance

The street lamp has always been there, but its light would never be on past 9pm, so it didn’t cause any problems when sleeping or cast too bright a light into my property, it's a fairly bright street anyway. However something changed in the last couple of weeks, and this has made it impossible for me to get a good nights sleep since (my curtains cannot block all of it), it’s been very disruptive, not helped by the fact that the lamp itself is very close to my window (3 meters or so), so this has also affected my sense of privacy. I believe this constitutes an artificial light nuisance, so I’m requesting that you please install a shield so it can illuminate the path but not my whole bedroom. Thank you!
