Uneven sinking pavement

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 13:23, Thursday 20 February 2025

Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7162569.

Ongoing issue with uneven/broken and dangerous pavement on SE164TX. This has been ongoing issue for few years now and is not getting any better even though on many occasions there were some attempts to fix it. However, the people that come to fix it don't do a proper fixing and just keeps on covering it up with some sand and as you can see from the pictures is causing lads of issue, and is a hazard to the residents and public. The pavement has been gradually sinking over the past few years. This area is very large with deep and dangerous holes, it’s getting bigger and deeper everyday as the tideway project is piling, the ground is subsiding.
