Broken ceramics and litter across St Francis Road SE228DE. This has been here for weeks and is getting worse. Street cleaning team that regularly clean east Dulwich grove and around east Dulwich station have informed me that they are unable to clean st Francis at the same frequency due to the way the cleaning zones have been set. It seems that despite st Francis road receiving a high pedestrian volume and having a high volume of take aways at the bottom of the street Southwark cleaning management have again reduced the frequency that St Francis Road is cleaned compared to east Dulwich grove and east Dulwich station. Please can Southwark cleaning team increase the frequency of cleaning to at Francis road so that it has exactly the same quality of care as the surround areas of east Dulwich grove goose green to east Dulwich station. In January 2023 St Francis Road residents meet with Cllr Catherine Rose ( Cabinet Member responsible for Streets in Southwark) and Esme Hicks and Sarah King (local area councillors). The situation with litter was improved immediately after due to more regular street cleaning taking place. Southwark cleaning management seem to have changed the frequency of cleaning taking place to once a month which is not frequent enough to ensure st Francis Road receives the same quality of clean streets as surrounding areas. Please can this rectified within 2 weeks or infom me that this has been escalated to Cllr Catherine Rose ( Cabinet Member responsible for Streets in Southwark) and Esme Hicks and Sarah King (local area councillors) and I will contact them directly.
