Consistent fly tipping
Reported via mobile in the Flytipping - General category anonymously at 21:06, Friday 26 July 2024
Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6281374.
There is persistent fly tipping of general rubbish in this corner behind the garage. It’s often food waste which attracts rats and we can smell a strong odour on our road and from our patio. We would like anti flytipping signs or cameras to be provided. We have seen rats on our patio which we believe is a result of this. Thank you for your help.

I saw the council van “collect it” this morning and this is how it looked seconds later. I took this photo as their truck was leaving. There is still a large fridge, some kind of eletrical item and loads of scattered rubbish. When its left like this, people see it and assume its okay for them to add to it and dump more rubbish. If it was completely clean. I think people would be less likely to do that. There is also still food waste all over the ground, which is causing smells and will keep the rats coming back. Thank you.
