Fly tipping
Reported via mobile in the Flytipping - General category anonymously at 10:45, Sun 9 June 2024
Sent to Southwark Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6083285.
Again people have dumped rubbish in the alley between nrs 77 and 79 Hollydale Road. This happens regularly, around once in every two weeks. I repeatedly asked the Council to take measures, e.g. by installing CCTV and a sign saying that offenders will be filmed and prosecuted. But no action has been taken so far. What do you want me to do then? Take matters in my own hands and beat people up who I catch fly-tipping?

The garbage has been removed. It turns out that our neighbour saw who dumper the rubbish there. She confronted them with it and miraculously the perpetrators cleaned the place up again.
So no action needed.
But please install a CCTV at the location and put up a sign saying that fly-tipping is unacceptable and that offenders will be prosecuted.
