Entire door handle / entry broken

This has been like this for over 6 weeks and my partner reported it 6 weeks ago, nothing has been done. The door latch had been malfunctioning and someone pulled the entire handle off. This single screw is the only thing stopping the latch catching and then be unable to open from the inside. This is the only fire escape in the block, so this is very dangerous. Please fix it. The council has known about this for six weeks
